 Cape Maclear is a town situated on the shores of Lake Malawi, not too far from Monkey Bay and Mangochi . This area is known for its colorful sandy beaches that are surrounded by rocks. Fishing is also a predominant activity. There is a fish market that has many fishermen’s boats anchored in the water. 

 The city of Mangochi is situated in Mangochi District, the Southern region of Malawi . The city is found between Lake Malombe and Lake Malawi—it covers some parts of the southern section of Lake Malawi. How big is the Mangochi district? Mangochi Boma (city center) has a few banks as well as ATM’s (Cash Points). You will also find street markets, supermarkets, Service Stations (Gas Stations), a Police Station, and Mangochi District Hospital.
