UMP AWARDS

 The UMP Awards 2025, presented by Chitoliro, is now accepting nominations for Malawian and African musicians and industry professionals. Submissions are open from 3 March to 15 September 2025 via this link. The selection process will combine expert panels, public voting, and data analysis to ensure fairness. Serving as the grand finale of the UMP Festival (21–27 October 2025 in Cape Maclear, Malawi), the awards introduce new categories reflecting the evolving music scene. Categories range from Artist of the Year to Best Music Video, Global Impact Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award.  

 The UMP Fashion Awards 2025 are back, celebrating the best in Malawian fashion with 15 exciting categories! Honoring top designers, models, stylists, brands, and fashion creatives, the awards will take place during the UMP Festival from October 21–27, 2025, in Cape Maclear.
